Blank pages are commonly caused by limted PHP memory. Did you run the Tiki Server Check to confirm that your hosting envirment is properly configured?
Also, the current Tiki 12.x version is 12.3. You may be encountering an issue that has already been resolved. I recommend upgrading to the latest LTS version and trying again.
Finally, can you enable the Tiki error reporting and tell us what errors you're seeing. Also, your webhost error log would be helpful in determining the problem.
