Re: winxp/dreamweaver devp environ and unix/cpanel hosting - does TW need to be installed on winxp too?

See the Windows Desktop Installation doc page. I think many folks have local versions of their Tiki for testing purposes (including me).

I don't think this is really necessary. Tiki will automatically track the wiki history and enable you to diff between versions or rollback, as necessary. See the docs for details.


You should, of course, create complete database backups at regular intervals, too. Again, see the docs, here for details.
