You didn't mention which Tiki version you're using, but in 1.9.8 the month/date shown in the calendar box appears to be hardcoded to use your server's short_format_day setting. sad

You can change this by editing the tiki-calendar.tpl template. Look for the line:

< a href="tiki-calendar.php?todate={$cell[w][d].day}" title="{tr}change focus{/tr}"> {$cell[w][d].day|date_format:$short_format_day} < /a>


And change the $short_format_day to use whatever format you like. If you wan to use Tiki's short format (as Marc suggests), change it to:

{$cell[w][d].day|date_format:tiki_short_date}
