When I open my site nhsenglish.org/deacon the page has a heading (banner?) called "Homepage". If I open "doc.tikiwiki.org" it doesn't have "hompage" headings.

A few things to realize...

  1. The name HomePage is showing because you have the Show Page Title option selected on the Wiki Config page.
  2. You can make any page to be your "home" page. Just enter the page's name in the Wiki Home Page option on the Wiki Config page.

Please see the docs for full details.

There is a difference between the page's actual name and the heading that appears on the page. You can use an H1 (!) to display a "title" on your page. Or use the page's "description" field for this purpose.
