Re: moving from windows to unix

There should really be no issues. The basic procedure is:

  1. Backup your DB.
  2. Create a new DB (on the new host) and restore your DB from the backup.
  3. Backup your Tiki files.
  4. FTP all the files to your new host.
  5. On the new host, got to ../tiki-install.php and configure your new DB login info (from #2, above)
    Click DO NOTHING AND ENTER
    Do not create a new isntallation.
