    I see a banner on a number of pages (including Control Panel) that says "Error Click here to rebuild index". When I click on the rebuild option there as well as in the Search feature configuration, the resulting page just says "Unsupported". If I try to run console.php index:rebuild, I see that this is not an option.

    I have done a search of documentation and forums and I am coming up empty.

    Anyone have a hint?

    That's odd, no, it's still supported and works fine on several production sites i'm running on 22.x - does the database need updating maybe? If it needs an update then the console command is disabled until it's up to date. But i thought the browser index rebuild didn't check for that...

    Are you using the default MySQL engine? If you changed it to elasticsearch but don't have that installed it would fail unpredictably (i've never tried that ;)

    If it's not the database update thing then post a screenshot of the error as it doesn't rung any bells for me...
