After months of hard work, the Tiki open source community is delighted to release Tiki version 3.0. This version of Tiki marks a new milestone in the development of the project, as we embark on building a community around Tiki Profiles, and accelerate the momentum in enhancing the ease of use and capability of one of the most powerful open source collaboration/content management platforms.

Thanks again to all who helped in making Tiki 3.0 a reality, and especially those who worked extra hard during the release process.

The release of Tiki 3.0 also marks the start of the work of the new Quality Team that will help to ensure that necessary bug fixes and incremental improvements make it to the 3.x versions while maintaining consistency and reliability, even as developers are working on cool new features for 4.0.
